i am free,

i long to be free

to love myself unconditionally, a spiritual being in human fashion
to love & receive love from others
from the enslavement of emotional fears & trials
to express myself responsibly & thoughtfully without heedless retaliation
to share & support the world around me
from societal labels which artlessly dept nothing & no one
to be confident, based not upon the strength of my youth & ignorance
to mend fences sans a sense of betrayal
from a society that defends monochromatic individuals
to become a change-maker
to be

to live my life according to the guidance of my inner voice as it stands incomprehensibly in the face of a society that imperatively & passively commands of us to blindly follow rules, regulations, values, demands, rituals & practices that have been inherited from uneducated & manipulated generations.
